How Long Until The Music Drowns You Out

I've officially gone to the Dark side. Too dark even for me.

Home Is Where The ... Money Is?

This weekend I went house shopping and looked at 4 potential homes. 2 in Dublin, 1 in San Ramon and 1 in Cupertino/Sunnyvale. I filmed a tour of the houses for all except for the Cupertino one. I've linked them below for your viewing pleasure. The videos are reminiscent of the SNL skits with Christopher Walken in "The Continental." Tell me what you guys think.

Dublin #1 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1055 sq. ft. (Video is 45megs)

Dublin #2 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1120 sq. ft. (Video is 50megs)

San Ramon 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 900 sq. ft. (Video is 36megs)

When Siblings Have Babies...

They produce stupid broads like the one who hit me in Fresno last Friday. Last Friday, while making a right turn into a gas station, I was struck from BEHIND. I pulled up and stopped and waited for the lady to come out of her car. After waiting 2 minutes, she finally came out and gave me her information. The first thing she mentions to me is how "fast I turned." My initial thoughts was "great I bet she thinks I am at fault."

Then comes yesterday, I get a call from my insurance informing me that the lady from Fresno is fighting liability for the accident. How retarded do you have to be to fight liability when you hit someone from BEHIND?! It boogles my mind to the point of anger.

So the next time your sibling asks you for sex say No, you don't want retarded children.

Summer Concert Series

Tonight I am marking the end of my Summer Concert Series and what a series of concerts they were. I will list all the concerts I went to this summer and my quick 1 to 2 sentence review of them.

August 12th White Stripes - First concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. Memories include Skipper and clouds and clouds of Mary Jane. Concert itself was rocking but lacking due to our proximity to the stage. We were too far.

August 19th Coldplay - At the Shoreline, I hate this venue. Very impersonal and lawn sitting is too far from the stage. Memories include nothing other than first outing with co-workers outside a company happy hour.

August 26th Vienna Teng (Rock Twist) - At the Independent. Always a pleasant evening with Vienna. Memories include getting to lean against the stage (front row baby!!!). A night can't go wrong with Vienna Teng and a group of friends.

September 4th Kelly Clarkson - Second time at the Greek Theatre. I wanted to see Kelly because I thought she would vocally impress me. Sadly due to technical difficulties and some vocal illness, no impression was made. Still a memorable night with Lisa Ly. Memories include a very impromptu show from Kelly as nothing seem to work right.

September 10th Garbage - Warfield (where else for Garbage?!) How can you go wrong with Garbage, to Pak and Ky to say they already seen a show that is just blasphemy. Show rocked hard and Shirley looked hot. I freaking love this band, I hope this hiatus they are going on does not turn into a break up.

September 24th Joan Laqui - Red Popper House. This was Joan's CD release party. It was so cool to actually hear a friend perform a small concert show. I felt so VIP in this small little art house. Joan rocked as did her opening act, absolutely love her voice. A free t-shirt at the end of the night just adds to the memories.

September 25th Alice's Now and Zen concert (really should be the Natasha Bedingfield Concert) - Golden Gate Park. Natasha just fucking rocked. Amazing vocals, amazing look, just an amazing time all together. The fact she responded to our shouts and cheers just added to the event. We love you Natasha, and she loves us (or rather Jack). Josh Kelly, Duran Duran, and Maroon 5 were all there as well but who cares, Natasha was all we wanted and needed to see.

October 7th Franz Ferdinand - Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Show was just fucking amazing, if there was anything to end a Summer Concert Series this was the show. Sure the crowd sucked ass, but the sound from Franz just freaking amazing, it blew me away. I am so in love with Alex Kapranos, his campy stage presence is something to be seen. I just loved it.

Pictures have been uploaded for all your viewing pleasure. For those of you who don't know the link, it is located on the left hand side. For those of you who are lazy click here. Enjoy because that's all I did during my Summer Concert Series.
