It has been a couple of days since I got back from Palm Springs, and I believe my headaches have subsided. Lets break down Palm Springs to parts just because that's easiest.
The Flight:So flying to Palm Springs was my first time flying that I can remember (I don't count flying from Indiana to California when I was 4). I don't have a fear of flying, just a fear of looking like a fool in the terminals and during security. Lets say 1 out of 2 isn't bad. When I get to the airport, I find a handful of my co-workers and apparently the talk of the firm is that this is my first time flying. Everyone is asking me if I am scared or how I am feeling. I'm OK people, I just don't know what to do when I get to the airport. We board the plane and all eyes are on me during take off ... whispers of me are heard, jokes from my co-worker are told, scare tactics are attempted. The flight itself had tons of turbulance causing me to think "Is this how all flights are like? If so I don't want to fly anymore (I hate headaches)." We land and I meet up with my co-workers who informed me that probably was one of their worst flights ever. It ranked second to my senior whose worst flight was landing during a thunder storm. So that made me feel better about flying, we just had a crappy pilot during the flight because Palm Springs was clear as a napkin after wiping my lips from a good bowl of pho. That was my first flight.
Palm Springs "Training":3 days in the sun, 3 days of sleeping through training presentations, 2 nights of drinking and gambling, 1 crawling under a stall to help a drunken co-worker, 1 hot waitress (Shannon), 1 luxury suite. But most of all, the bonding I enjoyed with my co-workers and the shit talking of my Southern CA collegues. All in all one adventurous trip if only you could take out the training sessions.
I've posted pictures of the trip in my yahoo photo album, but it is under private settings (I don't want to make a CLM in case someone from work finds my photo album). So if you are interested in seeing the album, email me and I'll email you back.

Good night Palm Springs.
