The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round

Morning traffic today was heavier than usual, and I wondered why? Then I rememberd it was the first day of school for SJSU and I found myself thinking, damn college students causing traffic. It's funny, when I use to go to school I wondered how morning commuters felt about college students and their effect on morning traffic. Now here I found myself, a morning commuter (no longer a college student) damning the traffic the college student cause. A graduation of a different sort.

I thought I could take a break from stress after school. With no more projects and tests, I assumed life would be a tad easier right after college. I was dead wrong, this is the most stress I have gone through, and my life has never experience such bad luck. SERENTIY NOW!!!!

My blog has finally hit 100 hits. Time to celebrate.

Go watch Garden State!!! That is all I will say about the film, oh and the fact Natalie Portman delivers one kick ass performance. I watch the film again just to see Sam (Natalie Portman's character). I love Sam, she rocks.

Memorable moment of the film would have to be when Sam confesses to Andrew (Zach Braff's character) that she constantly lies. At this point, Ken points to me and looks at me. Hehe, I don't know why but that put a smile on my face. I'm so Sam he is so Andrew. But as Jack's post said about the chemistry between Sam and Andrew, everyone can see themselves in their shoes.

Me Against The Music

During phases in my life, you can find me constantly listening to various songs. It is weird how these songs usually coincides with the events/emotions I go through. Is music my fortune teller? The contents of the song usually deal with what I need to do, or how I currently feel. I've always said music has been part of my life, but never would I think it was my guidance counselor. Now I think it is.

Spiritual Enlightenment

HA!!, no this post is not about me finding God or finding spirituality, but finding uplifting music. The other day I had the undaunting task of looking through my MP3s, to hopefully cheer someone up. As I was browsing the illegal contents I call my music collection, I noticed most songs I have are depressing or about heartbreak and wouldn't possibly help.

Which leads to today, where I find myself listening to my Stacie Orrico cd. I must say, her songs are quite uplifting and are not depressing in any nature. Songs such as "More to Life" and "Bounce Back" all put a smile on my face. They are songs that give me hope and embrace tomorrow. Thank you Stacie Orrico.
