So today was full of much activity for Nam Tong. So here we go.

In the morning I picked up my buddy, Shin from the airport. I was excited and anxious to finally see Shin again. Excited because my buddy was coming home, having not been able to hang out with him for three weeks provided some dreary nights. Anxious because I wanted to see if I was truly over Shin, because as the days went by I found myself not having the strong feelings I had prior to his departure. I was filled with so much emotion, that I woke up earlier than my set alarm because I wanted to see Shin. So come 11 and shin walks out of the International Arrival building and to my surprise no feelings emerged. I could finally look at Shin and not melt or fall in love with him. As glad as that makes me that I can finally move on, it does sadden me a bit. It saddens that my feelings that were so strong weeks prior have dissipated. It makes me wonder will I never be happy with anyone because I will easily get bored once the relationship has reached a certain point. I don't know but only time will tell. But in the end of this part of my day, I will say I am glad Shin is back home. I missed him.

Today at Renelynn's house, they celebrated Duc's birthday. Rene called me yesterday informing me they were throwing a surprise bday party for him. I asked her "Wasn't Duc's bday Jan. 1st?" She then informs me that all his paper work say he was born on Jan 15th. Very odd, how I have lived my whole life thinking my brother's bday was Jan. 1st when in actuality it is Jan 15. Shows you how much I know about my sibling lives. So I get to Rene's house around 5 to eat some free food and to celebrate my brother's bday. Rene gave me a tour of the house, cause the last time I saw it was not furnished. I must say they did a spectacular job in decorating the house. It was a nice get together. By 6 I was out of the house to go watch the Shark's game.

Tonight I got to watch the Sharks play against the Vancouver Canucks. I acquired these tickets by my friend, Brian. Brian and I have been chatting online a lot lately and so I agreed to go watch the game with him. One I wanted to meet Brian in person, and two who can resist a free ticket. So after Duc's bday I head over to pick up Brian. The game had an interesting first period but after that it slowed down for me. Not much happened after the first. The third period had its moments but nothing compared to the first. The evening was quite pleasant, first time watching a hockey game filled with pleasant conversations every now and then. So after the game, I drive Brian home and my Jan 15th came to an end.
