So what I thought would be one boring ass Saturday because all my friends had plans except for me, became one kick ass Saturday. Pung and Kim were off skiing/snowboarding, Jack and them were off to see Chris Rock, and I was all alone with no one to go out with. So around 11 I got onto my site and found this guy who was looking for a tennis partner, but he lived in SF. I messaged him anyway cause I always enjoy chatting with people who play tennis especially if they are gay. So we started talking, next thing you know I told him I was going up there to hit some balls with him. Yeah I know it seems drastic for someone to go all the way to SF to play tennis but hey it is me. So I get there and on the way there I am like hot damn this is a nice neighborhood. Going up hills and stuff was just nice. Finally get to his place and we go in his car to the courts. We first drop by a local park where all the courts are taken, so then we headed off to courts by the Castro. Nice courts. So we finally get courts around 4:30 and we didn't leave till 6:30. It was fun playing and being in the Castro. First played doubles where my partner and I lost bad, 2-6 2-6. I hate doubles. Later on I played singles with my friend, Louie, and beat me 6-2. That was nice but he is a lower skill level than me. After tennis we went back to his place, where he freshen up. Man he has a hella nice view from his condo, I was so envious, I want to move in. He showed me around his place, quite nice, then she showed me his partner's brother, fucking hot. I want some of that shit. So he is done freshening up, and it is off to Castro to have dinner. We eat at this Chinese restaurant and it is pretty damn good. I think Kim would enjoy it. After the dinner, we walk around the Castro and he shows me around. Throughout this whole day, Louie and I make pleasant conversation. It was truly nice to meet someone like Louie, nice guy. So after walking around Castro we head back to his place where we say our good-byes. And off home I went. I wish I had brought extra clothes, could have gone out clubbing since I was there. But oh well. It was a fun day none the less.
It is odd, how a place like Castro can make me feel so comfortable. A place I hardly go to, I hardly know, I feel so comfortable. I guess it is the fact I am with my "people." But still it is an odd feeling, I feel ME. I don't feel I am holding anything back.
