What's In A Nam?

- Yesterday while at home, my mom was on our treadmill, and was watching TV. She, for some reason, was watching the hispanic channel, watching some talk show. I came out of my room and asked her why was she watching this. She went on to explain how the guest had married three women and the women were beating up on the guy. I laughed of course. Then as i was about to leave for school, I realized how on earth did my mom know all that. She is vietnamese not hispanic. That realization was quite hilarious.

- Today was a great day. In the morning I imed ThuyVu and caught up with her and how she was doing. That was a very pleasant and funny conversation. Man ThuyVu is such a sweetie. I really, really enjoyed our conversation. We talked about the usual stuff when people first get together after a long time part. Soon we were talking about milk, and can you still drink it when today is the expiration date. Haha that was funny. After doing my errands, out of the blue, Lisa Ly imed me. We caught up and finally set up a late lunch/early dinner meeting. I picked her up and we were off to Pasta Pomodora. We ended up staying at Pasta for over two hours just catching up. Was quite pleasant. During our get together, Neal dropped by out of the blue. He chatted with us for a bit but had to eat with his parents. Much like my conversation with ThuyVu, Lisa and I caught up and then started talking about marriage, relationships, and other stuff. Today was quite nice, i enjoyed it.

- My new summer session class is crap. Cut out today cause it is just a waste of my time to be there. I don't pay attention, i just sit there and read maxim, newspaper, or just sleep. Wonder how i am going to get through this.

- Well looks like the Vegas trip is running smoothly. Only one question mark remains, and we all know who that belongs to. Now comes the money collection. Wonder how hard that will be?

- Well played tennis today, after a nice break, and lost to Thinh again 5-7. Was down 2-5, so that was something i liked today, but other than that i am damn rusty. I need my racquets back but oh so lazy to string them. But before i can string them i need to buy strings. Wonder when i will buy strings?

- Friday night was one of the best night i have ever had. First Tham, Jack and I went to San Jose Bar And Grill where we took a shot and chatted. Saw one fine ass guy there. That was the hi-light of that place. Apparently according to Tham and Jack, it is mean of me to point out ugly asians chick. I guess it is wrong to call them ugly, but what other word fits. Nothing. After bar and grill we went to my first gay club experience. I had such a blast, man gay clubs are the way to go, gay or straight. Cheap entrance fee, better music, and guys who check out other guys. What more can you ask for (gay wise). Feel bad about the guy i dissed, according to Tham and Jack. Didn't want to come off like a jerk, just didn't noticed. I thought Tham was just informing me of a guy checking me out, didn't know he wanted to dance with me. Oh well, hehe guess i come off as a jerk no matter what i do.

- Saturday spent the whole day with the guys, we went everywhere and came back with nothing other than some cheap 99 cent balls. Tennis balls for you sickos out there. Then just spend the whole night playing priston tale with them online. Nice day, what more can you ask.

- You know you are a bad driver when you drive slow even for a SEMI. COME ON, drive slow for a semi. Also you know you are a bad driver when you have both X chromosomes. You figure that out for yourself. Tired of saying bad women driver, since there are so many i tend to say it a lot. So i came to the conclusion that there are very few good women drivers, so saying "a good women driver" would give it more importance. Guilty till proven otherwise.

- So freaking tired of listening to this lady at work who works in the the department behind my cubical. So freaking tired of hearing stories about her damn kids, i bet you they are the dumbest kids ever, and to make up for it she has to brag about how "brilliant" they are just to cover up their stupidty. I don't mind talking about your kids, but bragging about them is just too much. How smart can a kid be anyways, what the fuck do they know. Oh and she brags about how smart she is herself, which is even worst. And don't get me started on her sneeze, fake bitch.

- Haven't gone to play tennis this whole week so far. Pretty good.

- Got a 92/100 on my Econ test, damn that class is easy. But apparently listening to fellow students, this class is considered hard. A few people have told me they got a score ranging from 70-60. I figure i am in the same boat as most of them, since i haven't taken Econ since basically high school. Man i always joked that De Anza students are below me, but maybe it is a reality. Hehe.

- I am broke!!!!! How does someone who gets paid as much as i do, never have any money. I need to win the lotto.

- My new summer class sucks. Feel asleep for nearly the whole class, that is close to 4 hours of sleep. My gosh. How does a teacher spend nearly 3 hours explaining a chapter that is only 5 pages long, that he wrote himself. And this chapter was merely an introduction chapter. This summer session doesn't look too good.

- Had dinner with Tham, and walked Santana Row. Damn Jack is right, that place is hella nice to walk around. Got to go to Diesel, and found myself some cool jeans, but then i saw the price and didn't think they were so cool anymore. Had dinner at Straits, and my review is never go there again. But our waitress was cute, and looked very familiar.

- Didn't do anything today, didn't play tennis, didn't workout very hard. What a deary day today was, here is to hoping tomorrow is better.

I am tired of doing these memorable moments things, so i think i will go back to just typing down things that pop in my head.

- Well on Saturday, I got Dy-nasty warriors 4 and invited Pung and Jack over. And of course we played till next morning. And my weekends are suppose to help me catch up on sleep, tsk tsk tsk Nam.

- Tennis news: On Friday, I played tennis with Paul. Actually challenged him to two sets, and of course lost 2-6 3-6. But I was pretty proud on how I played, I thought I was going to lose 0-6 0-6. Didn't think I would be able to break his serve. Just prove my point that I can break people easier than I can hold serve. Sucks. Later during the day, the #1 from Silver Creek asked me if i wanted to hit with him. Cocky SOB, that guy is. And that fool needs to shut up on the courts, freaking talks way too much. Thank god, My Phoung Lam and Pin saw me. My and I hit for awhile till the lights went out, she still hits the same. Hitting with My made me realized how I have grown up and matured. All that stuff that bothered me about her, i feel none of it anymore. All water under the bridge. Hope she feels the same. The ideals of an immature high school student. On Saturday morning, I played tennis with Alex. Actually won 7-5, damn lefties are hard to play. Pretty terrible game, only two hold of serves, both time on mine. How sad that having said that, i am pretty happy. So sad.

- Well this week, saw the end of the first summer session of class at SJSU, i think i will get a B in the class, damn first midterm. Also this week, i took my first econ midterm, pretty damn easy. But watch I am going to get a hella low grade, hate it when I think I do well on something. Man this Econ class at De Anza is so relaxing, school wise. I feel no pressure.

- Got my first pay check with my new raise, I now earn $17.56, making my bi-weekly paychecks $516. Pretty nice. Man makes me scared when I graduate. Am I going to find an easy of a job as this one when i graduate? I hope so, but probably won't.

- Went to the gym, four times this week, damn I am proud of myself. Hope I can continue this trend, I want to get cut. But only time will tell.

- Feel like eating at Carrows again, hehe.

Memorable Moment #1: Today is fourth of July, and so i planned an outting that involved Tham, Jack, Pung, and I. We went to the city, where we had all you can eat dim sum (it sucked), and walked around china town for a bit. We should have walked around the city more, as planned, but instead jump straight to the beach. Bad idea, couldn't do anything afterwords. Wanted to see more of the city, since i hardly go there.

Memorable Moment #1: On Tuesday started the first day of school at De Anza. Got to school 30 mins before class started, and i attribute that to the fact that i didn't ask Ky for a ride.

Memorable Moment #2: Watching Making the Band 2, and man that shit is ghetto.
