Memorable Moment #1: Had a nice hour long telephone conversation with Nga. Called her yesterday to congratulate her on graduating college. We talked about all sorts of things, traveling, accounting, tax, shopping (hehe), friends, school, just a lot of stuff. I always liked talking to Nga, she brings something different to the table when we talk. I don't know what it is, but it is nice. Maybe it is cause she is in accounting too, but i don't know. We talked for about an hour, which made me not study for my exam today.
Memorable Moment #2: Failed my exam.
Memorable Moment #3: Went out with Anthony, haven't seen him in awhile. He just got back from Austrailia, man everyone seems to be traveling, wish i could. We went to eat at Kazoo, good sushi but not much variety this time. Afterwards we went to watch "Old School," was a pretty funny movie but nothing spectacular. But then again what can you actually expect from a movie like that, those movies you just go to have a good time, which it provided.
Life comes and goes, but it's the memories that last forever.

Memorable Moment #1: Attended Dr. Fried's memorial today. Was a nice service, a lot of tears, a lot of laughter. Amazing how many students Dr. Fried touched. Like I said in my prior post, he truly will be missed.
Memorable Moment #2: Man watching the news and those anti war protestors are annoying me even more now. Pulling out newspaper stands and putting them on the street. Like shiet man, what did the public do to you. Getting in people's way. Should just take a whole bunch of them and send them to Iraq and place them in front of a missle. So annoying. Still think it is pointless to protest here or anywhere other than Washington D.C. or Iraq.
Memorable Moment #3: Shaved my head. Nothing else to do on a Thursday.
Life comes and goes, but it's the memories that last forever.
*Thought my closing was stupid and boring.
Memorable Moment #1: This is more of a memorable moment to the world than my own, today (Wednesday, 03-19-2003) the United States began war with Iraq once again. Currently I have no opinion on wether this war is justified or not, I see the pros and cons of the war. But if i were to choose a side i would lean towards pro war, cause of the fear of what could be. Which brings me to a question Jack asked in one of his post a couple days back. Should we as a people give up the present in order to preserve the future, or should we give up the future in order to maintain the present? After thinking about that question, i would answer give up the present in order to preserve the future. Cause how i see it, the present is not grim or bleak, while the future is unknown, and if we as a people are given the choice to somehow make that future more known, then God willing we do what we can.
What I realized that I am bothered by today about this war, is how it has brought out anti war demonstrators. I watched on the news the other day, the day after Bush gave Saddam his ultimatium, how demonstrators were sitting in the middle of the streets in San Fran in protest to the war. I just found this to be ridculous. I understand the anti war stance and i understand people demonstrating what they believe in, but come on now. If you want to protest the war do it in a place that will make a difference, Washington D.C. Not San Fran, who are you going to reach in San Fran. Like shiet if you are so against the war, fly to Washington D.C. or even Iraq and do your protesting there, There is nothing in San Fran that can help stop this war, so get out of the publics way. I don't see why the public has to suffer from demonstrator views when they are trying to reach the heads of politicians. And i don't see why the protestors cannot go to Washington D.C. to protest, they obviously have enough time to sit in the middle of the street, in the middle of the day to protest so they must be ass backwards in money and time. So as the commentator on ABC's Primetime, John Stalso (sp?) says Give Me A Break.

Memorable Moment #1: I usually take Alvin to get onto 101 from Tully on Tuesday and Thursday, but prior days made me believe that just taking Tully straight would be faster since I usually get there close to 9, when traffic has died down. So today I decide to take Tully, and what happens? Freaking takes me forever to get on the freeway. Probably 5 rounds of the light turning green went by, by the time i finally got on. See what happens when you do things out of your normal routine.

I like to take a moment of silence for my professor, Dr. Alan Fried. Though i only knew Dr. Fried this semester, i believe he was one of the nicest professors i've had the pleasure of taking. His death took me by surprise today, and just drained me of all my energy. At this time, though he will never read this, i would like to say thank you Dr. Fried for teaching me what you did. You will truly be missed. Farewell Dr. Fried
