The Last Hope

Hope. A beautiful word with a beautiful meaning. Hope is what drives some of us, hope is what pleases some of us. But with beauty comes ugliness.

Many times I have experienced hope only to experience the ugliness of it faltering. Disappointment always seem to rears its ugly head when I am in a moment of hope. Hope hasn't been good to me and disappointment usually fills in the hole left behind. By now I should be filled with disappointment and hopeless but I ain't. I guess that is the beauty of hope, no matter how many times I get disappointed I still bounce up and strive again.

Hope. An ugly word with an ugly meaning. Hope can disappoint some of us, hope can depress some of us. But then with ugliness comes beauty.
